Helmut Leder is the PI of this project and is Head of the Department of Psychology of Cognition, Emotion, and Methods, at the University of Vienna. He is Professor of General Psychology and established the Vienna Research Lab for Art and Beauty, Cognition and Emotion in Aesthetic Experiments EVALab.

Project Team

Aleksandra Mitrovic was part of the project team from the very beginning until January 2019. She studied psychology at the University of Vienna. Her main research interests are perception of facial attractiveness, influence of perceiver variables on perception, and eye movement measures.

Lisa Hegelmaier was part of the project team from 2017 until March 2019. She studied psychology at the University of Vienna.

Jürgen Goller joined the team in 2018/2019. He studied psychology at the University of Vienna.

Eva Specker was a project team member in fall 2019. 

Patrick Smela was part of the team in spring 2017. He studies psychology at the University of Vienna.

Blanca Spee supported the team with her expertise in statistical evaluation of studies in 2018 and 2019; Lars Michael Schöpper conducted a study for this project in 2017; and Alessia Celentano graphically edited stimuli for this FWF-project in 2017 (independent work contracts).
