Eye-movements in art-viewing

How similarly do different people look at any given art-work? This seemingly simple question does not have a simple answer, despite the common use eye-tracking in empirical aesthetics. This project investigates methods to quantify the similarity of  eye-movement comparison. The goal is to compare fixations and saccades with various methods for different types of artworks (eg: abstract, figural paintings, photos), and groups (eg: age, gender) on existing datasets.
